An idea launched at the Raku Core Summit last summer, is coming to fruition: Richard Hainsworth introduces Draig, a Welsh localization of the Raku Programming Language. Along with some nice-to-have helper scripts! Cool stuff!

Core Developments

  • Elizabeth Mattijsen added nqp::syscall, nqp::register and nqp::delegate as shortcuts for the most common (and verbose) uses of nqp::dispatch, and added documentation and tests for them. Also deprecated the use of the PERL6LIB environment variable in favour of the RAKULIB environment variable.

In RakuAST developments this week:

  • Elizabeth Mattijsen fixed a recent bug in the RakuAST::L10N module.
  • The number of passing test-files with the new Raku grammar are now 110/151 (make test +0) and 985/1356 (make spectest +0).
